Before you book.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
We track your flight number from take-off. If you land late, your chauffeur is in the arrivals hall when you walk out, and ordinary delays are never added to your rate.
Can my company book and pay on account?
Yes. Add your company name when you reserve and we'll set up an account so colleagues and guests travel on one monthly invoice.
Can the chauffeur wait between meetings?
With hourly, half-day or full-day hire the Staria stays with you, so you move from meeting to lunch to the airport without rebooking.
Do you drive weddings, concerts and conferences?
Yes. We move wedding parties, conference delegates, VIP guests and families to sporting events, concerts and celebrations. Choose “Shuttle or chauffeur” when you reserve, add the venue and timings, and we’ll plan the day around the occasion.
Do you work with hotels, travel agencies and schools?
We do. Hotels and guesthouses, travel agencies, event organisers and schools book us for their guests, clients and learners. Send us your expected volumes and we’ll agree rates and a simple way to book.
How can I pay?
By card on board with our Speedpoint machine, or by EFT before you travel. Companies can also pay on account with one monthly invoice. Nothing is paid on this website.
Are your chauffeurs licensed?
Yes. Every MiAfrika Tours chauffeur holds a Professional Driving Permit (PDP), the licence South African law requires for carrying passengers, and the Staria is inspected and maintained regularly.
Do you travel outside Gauteng and across the border?
Yes. We drive anywhere in South Africa, from Kruger National Park and Sun City to the coast, and across the border into neighbouring countries. Tell us the route and dates and we’ll confirm a fixed rate.
Is there Wi-Fi in the vehicle?
Yes, free Wi-Fi is on board for every journey, so you can work, take a call or stay in touch on the road.
How much luggage fits?
Comfortably for most groups. If you're travelling as seven or eight with full-size suitcases, add them in the booking and we'll confirm the space in advance.
How is the rate calculated?
By the journey, not the minute, and for the whole vehicle rather than per person. Transfers are a R650 call-out plus R24 per kilometre, with a R950 minimum; OR Tambo to Sandton is usually about R1,400. Hourly hire is R750 an hour (3-hour minimum), a half day is R3,600 and a full day R6,500. Journeys between 22:00 and 05:00 carry a 15% night rate. The booking form shows an estimate as you go, and you receive one fixed price on WhatsApp before anything is booked.
