This notice explains how MiAfrika Tours ("we") handles the personal information you give us through this website, in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
What we collect
- Details you enter in the booking form: names, WhatsApp number, email address, company, travel dates and times, flight numbers, collection and drop-off addresses, number of guests and luggage, and any notes.
- Messages you send us on WhatsApp or by email.
- Basic technical information our hosting provider records automatically, such as IP address, for security and to prevent abuse.
Why we use it
- To quote, arrange and carry out the journey you asked for, including meeting you at the airport.
- To contact you about your booking.
- To keep business and tax records.
We do not sell your information or use it for marketing without your consent.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to run the website and handle bookings: our website host, our email delivery provider, our booking database provider and our address-search provider (which receives the address text you type in the address fields). Each processes the information on our behalf.
How long we keep it
We keep booking records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal and tax requirements, after which they are deleted.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to how it is used, by contacting us. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
